Summary:In the present paper we attempt an interdisciplinary approach on multimedia educational material for adults. We present some hermeneutic tools that help us focus on issues concerning educational material’s content structuring, its degree of specialization and learner’s guidance, as well as on issues concerning its degree of immediacy and interaction with the learners. Such an interdisciplinary outline could help designers/instructors draw some useful general conclusions.
